Energy Production  – Timna Renewable Energy Park

A major part of the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy Initiative is the development of the Timna Renewable Energy Park, a unique industrial park that is to contain up to 225MW of solar power plants and other related facilities. This part is a pivital component for the goal of achieving regional energy independence. It is also expected to create at least 50 new jobs.

The Timna Renewable Energy Park will be encompass smart-grid technologies for managing the process and coordinating between the different government agencies.
