Renewable Energy Site Tour

One of the outstanding highlights of the Eilat-Eilot International Renewable Energy Conference is a tour of several sites where renewable energy projects are deployed throughout the Eilat region.

These are real-life deployments of alternative energy technologies that are operating case-studies that offer informative examples that conference participants can bring home to their own regions. On the third day of the conference, hop on the bus with your new friends and business associates and visit these innovations that are ready for joint ventures and partnerships.

A great example of the types of technologies you will visit during this tour is AORA, of Israeli EDIG group, a developer of applied ultra-high temperature concentrating solar power (CSP) technology. The breakthrough of CSP is that it can power a 100kW gas micro-turbine. Other solar technologies currently available can only power much larger steam turbines. The AORA people say it is the world’s first company to commercialize the use of a solarized gas turbine engine.
