The Eilat-Eilot Team
The Co-Managing Directors of the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy initiative share the management tasks that govern its activites. They both take turns soliciting support from governmental and quasi-governmental, as well as international agencies. They each work to promote the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy projects as a model for solving the energy crisis and creating regional energy independence.
They work to advance all of the necessary components, as well as generate substantial regional development. The activities includes Renewable Energy Education, R&D, Commercialization and Pilot projects, Renewable Energy production, Energy Conservation, Regional Branding and advancing suitable regulation. The Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy initiative has received wide recognition by government and public in Israel and globally.

Dorit Davidovich Banet, co-founder, has been managing the The Eilat Eilot Renewable Energy project for the last 4 years. Prior to joining with Noam to create the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy initiative, Dorit was the head of the environment unit Eilat-Hevel Eilot for 8 years. Among her activities were: setting up the Environment Unit, create the idea of renewable energy as catalyst for sustainable developing in the region, realization of several unique environmental projects as: sewage solutions by constructive wetlands in the kibutzim, massive recycling infrastructure in the hole region, and creating interface regarding open areas in the Arava and in the Eilat see shores.
Dorit holds a Masters Degree in Geomorphology Studies from the Ben Gurion University, focusing on stratigrafics issues and earthquakes. She holds a BA Degree in Geography from Haifa university.
Noam Ilan

Noam Ilan, co-founder, has been managing the The Eilat Eilot Renewable Energy project for the last 4 years. Prior to joining with Dorit to create the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy initiative, Noam was engaged in business development and consulting in the field of Renewable Energy. Among his activities were pioneering bio-fuel production in Israel and promoting solar energy legislation in the Israeli Parliament. In the 1090s, Noam founded and managed Cortext Ltd, an innovative software development company with leading clients in Israel and abroad.
Noam holds a Master Degree in Environmental Studies in the Tel Aviv University, focusing on renewable energy issues.
